Sex and Fundamentalism – Dr. Sircus

Imagine what one would do to enslave a race of beings to endless conflict and suffering. Where would you plant a seed that would make sure there would never be agreement among humans on the most basic issues? Want to guarantee eternal conflict among men? Such a deed of blasphemy would attack humanity through its collective sexuality just like a rapist attacks or molester molests a single individual.

Why are so many people messed up sexually? Why is there so much stress around sexuality? In addition, why are there so many people on a planet that cannot sustain all of them in a decent way? It is dangerous to talk openly about sex because any frank discussion is going to step on a lot of religious toes and that is what I was talking about in the first paragraph.

All the world’s major religions attack humanity’s sexuality. They do that first by dividing the sexes putting the feminine principle down and they do that also by making sexual acts crimes punishable by death. One is not serious in a fundamental way about religion if you do not buy religions fundamental code, which is very clear about the crimes of sexuality.

The Supreme Court of the United States is soon going to legalize, on a federal level, homosexuality, putting that decision beyond individual states. Since I believe that God loves all people (independent of sexual choice), I can only hold corrupt religious scripture responsible for the eternal damnation held out to homosexuals.

It was a war of hundreds of generations with the homosexuals and adulterers and many other violators of sexual code, all thrown to the wolves whenever possible. That is unpopular today in secular societies so they went after the drug users instead. Now that is unpopular because the world is finding out that marijuana is an excellent medicine so they are beginning to talk about going after the parents who do not vaccinate their kids.

Some people need to war about something and that is part of the original sabotage of human consciousness. While most people frown upon some aspect of sex, or disregard its value apart from reproduction, it has been medically proven that sex not only maintains good health, but actually improves one`s physical condition and prevents other conditions from developing.

Having sex in excess of 3 times a week reduces a
man`s risk of heart disease and/or stroke by 50 percent.

Dr. James W. Prescott contends that the greatest threat to world peace comes from those nations that have the most depriving environments for their children and that are most repressive of sexual affection and female sexuality.

“The association of sex with violence provides a clue to understanding physical violence in terms of deprivation of physical pleasure. Unlike violence, pleasure seems to be something the world can’t get enough of. People are constantly in search of new forms of pleasure, yet most of our “pleasure” activities appear to be substitutes for the natural sensory pleasures of touching. We touch for pleasure or for pain or we don’t touch at all. Although physical pleasure and physical violence seem worlds apart, there seems to be a subtle and intimate connection between the two. Until the relationship between pleasure and violence is understood, violence will continue to escalate.”

“As a developmental neuropsychologist I have devoted a great deal of study to the peculiar relationship between violence and pleasure. I am now convinced that the deprivation of physical sensory pleasure is the principal root cause of violence.”

Sex is considered to be the least boring and most pleasurable activity. We express our most fundamental natures through our sexual choices. Pleasure, enjoyment, and sharing are the fruits of sexual expression. However, there is a dark side to all of this, and in great part that is the sabotage I was mentioning above. Making anything but hurting another a crime is a crime. Making any part of sex a criminal activity punishable by death was the greatest crime ever committed.

Though few today are put to death, the great darkness created has rolled across the ages infecting just about everyone. Today sexual crimes like homosexuality (not a civil crime), pedophilia, prostitution are blackmail offenses that are probably used against politicians to keep them in line. It makes sense that the more money and higher up in status one is the greater the odds of non-perfect behavior that one can be blackmailed about.

Like there is a super-positive side to marijuana, there is to sex. Sex strengthens and notifies muscles. It is more enjoyable than 20 laps in the pool. Sex is an instantaneous cure, though temporary, against depression. It frees endorphins in the blood creating a state of euphoria. Professor Stuart Brody of the University of Paisley published a study showing sex can lower blood pressure. “We’re not just talking about the immediate effects of having had nice sex. The beneficial effects could last at least a week,” says Professor Brody.

Going deep into the art of giving through the physical act of pleasure
is just one more avenue to the bliss of the radiating heart.
This gift nurtures our soul; any soul would be pleased
to receive the ultimate gift of pure intimacy.

Nakedness & Sex in the Garden

And in the garden they were both naked and they were not ashamed and even God saw that everything was good. Naked people tend to be vulnerable. In the Bible we see in many places mention of the beauty of nakedness and even Noah was ready to kick his sons for covering him up.

Sex does exist in the garden. Purity; love and joy are mirrors or indicators that we are near heaven’s doors. When we separate our hearts from our sexualities we forever shut the gates and when we make sex into something ugly and shameful we create highways to hate and hell in our minds. We do know that people who abuse sexuality of another (their deepest vulnerabilities) literally create a hell on earth for that other person to live with for the rest of life.

Preventive gerontologist Dr. Michael Roizen estimates that we can add nearly two years to our life simply by having good sex twice a week. “Having more sex for men, a higher quality of sex for women correlates with being younger.” As scientists learn more about links between good sex, our brains, emotions and body functions, they are confirming the linkage between good sex and longevity. “A good sexual relationship is essential to good health,” says Dr. Barbara Bartlick, psychiatry professor who founded the Human Sexuality Program at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York.

People are having sex less in advanced societies like Japan and birth rates are in retreat. Intercourse and conception are special aspects of sexuality that can be treated independently, because one can enjoy sexual intimacy to its fullest without intercourse for the purpose of conception, or without intercourse at all. Today one can have 99.6% safe intercourse with  digitally assisted natural birth control.

We need love and sex more today than ever but life is breaking down along many fault lines making close intimate relationships, and the time to enjoy them, more difficult. That is why I wrote Love and Sex Medicine.
